摘要

The aim of the research was to assess the influence of sulfonylurea herbicide metsulfuronmethyl on weed control efficacy and yield of winter and spring cereals. The studies were carried out in 2007-2008 at several locations in western and southern parts of Poland. Metsulfuron-methyl was effective against Viola arvensis, Matricaria inodora, Capsella bursa-pastoris, Geranium pusillum, Stellaria media, Thlaspi arvense, Papaver rhoeas, Lamium purpureum, Myosotis arvensis, Brassica napus (self-sown plants), Sonchus arvensis, Galinsoga parviflora. 25 and 50% reduction of herbicide recommended dose showed worse effect only against some weeds: V. arvensis, G. pusillum, P. rhoeas and L. purpureum. Metsulfuronmethyl was selective to winter wheat, winter triticale and spring barley.
