Methods of weed infestation reduction in maize cultivated with organic fertilization.

摘要

The results of the research presented in this paper consider the field experiment carried out in 2006-2007 at the Agricultural Experimental Station in Zawady. In maize crop the following forms of organic fertilization were applied - manure, blue facelia and straw. Weeds were controlled mechanically and chemically, applying herbicides: after sowing - Atranex 500 SC, after sprouting - Milagro 040 SC. Weed fresh matter and grain yield were determined. The weed infestation in maize crop was modified by the weather conditions in individual years of preformed research. A higher level of weed infestation was recorded in less favourable vegetation season of 2006. The herbicide Atranex 500 SC showed the highest effectiveness of weed chemical control in maize. A significantly higher infestation was observed in control objects and the fertilized with straw.
