There is no question that we are in an upcycle with regards to price and raw material inputs in this sector. It is no longer just Nickel. In the April surcharge release, Nickel was running about $1.80/lb lower than this month and Moly was still under $10/lb at $9.85. This month the Moly price was $13.44/lb, a whopping 73% increase. There were spot prices above $14/lb in late May as sellers withdrew product waiting for the market to settle - higher, of course. More to come we suggest, in this interesting time.
