CCL Acquires Avery Dennison's European Package Label Business

A very Dennison says it has agreed to sell its European package label converting business to CCL Industries (Toronto) for US60 million. CCL is a label converting firm and customer of Avery's pressure-sensitive adhesive materials business. The deal include a long-term supply agreement under which Avery will provide pressure-sensitive base materials to CCL. The deal is expected to be completed during the third quarter pending regulatory approval, Avery says.
