摘要

Organic-inorganic hybrids have been great interest as a novel class of materials. They potentially serve and surpass the parent materials in properties. Organic-inorganic hybrids are produced not only by human being but also by animals and plants. For example, the bone is the organic-inorganic hybrid material having both ductility of collagen and hardness of hydroxyapatite. Therefore, the bone can support the body weight of oneself. We are interested in "a bioinspired material" using the principles of biological systems as models.
