摘要

The need to produce extremely clean transportatin fuels is continually increasing. Future standards are being set which cannont be achieved with existing process equipment. For example, processes that can now achieve sulfur levles of less than 500 ppm in diesel can not be empolyed to lower the sulfur levles to less than 50 ppm S without very short cycles. Future sulfur speicifications in Euroe are being propsoed to be as low as 10 ppm S.
