Process for the removal of low amounts of Organic Sulfur from Hydrocarbon Fuel, especially diesel fuel / Oxidant Composition and an extractor for extracting Sulfur Compounds

A process is described for the Desulphurization of Fuels such as diesel oil and Petroleum products similar to reduce Sulfur content in a range of about 2 to 15 ppm Sulfur.The fuel that contains Sulfur is contacted with a solution of slightly elevated temperature oxidation / removal of a small amount of Formic acid, hydrogen peroxide, not more than about 25% by weight of water. Also described is a process for the separation of removal of oxidation products of fuel.An Oxidant / Extractor and composition for the removal of Sulfur Compounds.
