IT took about six montlis, but I finally finished "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. Though the work of fiction was published in 1957, it feels like it was written for the post-recession days we're facing now. In essence. Rand identifies two types of people in the world: producers and takers (she calls them looters). In the book, the looters continue to take from the hardworking producers, finally pushing the producers too far. When the producers go on strike, the looters can no longer survive on their own.
