USA slaps anti-dumping duty on thermal paper from two PRC-wide exporters

The US international Trade Commission (ITC) has imposed an anti-dumping duty of 115.29% on lightweight thermal paper imports to the USA from two exporters from China. The exporters affected are Jaan Huey and Shanghai Hanhong Paper, including its affiliate Hanhong Paper. The duties took effect from December 16. The agency's decision follows the US Department of Commerce's preliminary results released on August 12 which found that neither party was eligible for a separate rate for the period under review - November 1, 2014, to October 31, 2015. Thus it has applied the 'PRC-wide' (People's Republic of China-wide) rate to the two exporters.
