摘要

Recent research has revealed that over half of UK business owners or managers are stalling payments in a bid to bridge the late payment gap. And the poultry sector is not immune from this late payment chain. Not only does it disrupt cash flow riskingthe viability of a business, but it also means businesses are spending more time this year chasing late payments, costing vital time and money. By operating a monthly billing system, producers can highlight non-payments at an early stage, before credit builds up, says Matthew Elias of Nigel Davis Solicitors.
