Demand growth slowing in C&S American BOPP film market

A slowdown in the GDP growth of the economies of most countries in Central & South America in 2015 has slowed demand growth for BOPP films. Of particular note is the slowdown in the consumption of BOPP film in Brazil, which most in the industry say will be short term, mainly because of the expected growth in flexible packaging demand from the Olympics this year.
