Jindal Poly Films to invest Rs 1000 crore for global expansion

Jindal Poly Films, headquartered in New Delhi, India is to invest Rs 1000 crore in a global expansion project to increase its BOPP film capacity by a further 161,000 tpa to reach 606,000 tpa globally. The future investment, which involves plants in India as well as its subsidiaries in USA and Europe comprise of three BOPP production lines, metallisers, coating lines and ancillary equipment. The new production lines are expected to be operational within the next two years.
