Ongoing research work has resulted in a new high density polypropylene (HDPP) wrap for confectionery that is economical in terms of material weight and heat sealing temperature, claims Moneta. The Slovakian firm said its two new sweet wraps made from HDPP, which were released at the at the recent ProSweets trade fair in Germany, have memory the equivalent of aluminium as well as having excellent antistatic characteristics.
