Milacron and Mid-America settle patent suit over lightweight milk jugs

Milacron Holdings Corp. and Mid-America Machining Inc. have settled Mid-America's patent lawsuit over lightweight blow molded milk jugs. The companies jointly announced the end of the jug battle on July 14. They said that court records show the lawsuit was dismissed May 10. Mid-America Machining, based in Brooklyn, Mich., filed its lawsuit in June 2015 in U.S. District Court in Detroit.
