New plastic wrap to aid detection of contamination and spoilage of stored food in refrigerator

A Canadian company has recently developed a plastic wrap to aid detection of stored food contamination.The innovation is based on a proprietary coating technology on the plastic wrap that can detect the level of bacteria like E-coli and salmonella within 30 minutes after the coating process.Post-detection,the wrap will undergo physical changes to indicate the same.
