China Standard Thermoplastics March/April 2014: C2 and C3 import prices fall/ Domestic prices rising

China's total inventory of standard thermoplastics diminished in the period under review. At the same time, many local PP producers began their scheduled maintenance turnarounds. Together, these two developments led prices for domestically produced polymer to rise. In the case of PS, high feedstock prices strengthened producers in their calls for price hikes.
