Tokyo-Taiwan's Formosa Plastics is currently operating its new 400,000 mt/yr ethylene dichloride plant at 50% in Mai Liao after starting up the unit at the end of last year,a company source said Jan 12.Formosa plans to increase the operating rate gradually and is aiming for 100% capacity at the end of January.
