EU chemical output up 2.7% in first seven months of 2007:Cefic

London-Chemical industry output(excluding pharmaceuticals)in the European Union increased by 2.7% in the first seven months of 2007 compared to the same period of 2006,according to Cefic,the European Chemical Industry Council,November 12.The growth was in part due to strong industry growth rates,particularly in consumer industries such as automotive,machinery and equipment but chemical sectors also benefited from a favorable economic environment,Cefic said.
