India's IOC to finish Panipat refinery expansion in 2009: reports

Singapore—Indian Oil Corp. will complete the expansion of its Panipat oil refinery by November, several local reports quoted IOC refineries director BN Bankapur as saying over the weekend. Bankapur, was quoted in several newspapers, including the online edition of national daily The Hindu, as saying that the inland refinery would complete its expansion from 12 million mt/year (240,000 b/d) to 15 million mt/year (300,000 b/d) on schedule.
