Indian Oil Corp Completes Expansion Of Panipat Refinery-Won 1st place in the ranking of refinery in India, overtaking Reliance

Indian Oil Corporation, or IOC, has recently completed the expansion work to raise its refining capacity from 240,000 barrel per day to 300,000 bpd at Panipat Refinery in Haryana state, which lies in the northern part of India. According to local newspapers, IOC is expected to start operations of the refinery, of which expansion has been just completed, and the secondary units this week, when total refining capacity of eight refineries, that the company runs, will amount to 1,294,000 bpd.
