Butadiene prices may fall below 1,000/mt in Q4:sources

Singapore-The price of Asian butadiene,last seen in three digit figures of 920/mt on the CFR China benchmark in September 2007,had since then soared to 3,350/mt CFR China in August 2008,making it possibly the most expensive petrochemical in the world.With dramatic price losses in recent weeks,butadiene may soon be back in three-digit prices,industry sources said this week.
