European February benzene contract prices fall Eur98/mt

London-An initial Northwest European benzene contract price for February was settled January 31 at Eur722/mt FD NWE,a drop of Eur98/mt FD NWE compared to January's CP,a buyer involved in the agreement confirmed.The decline comes as spot values have slumped a hefty 167.50/mt since January 2 when the market was assessed at 1,095-1,105/mt CIF ARA,according to Platts data.Prices were assessed January 30 at 930-935/mt CIF ARA.
