Basf Corp.in Mt.Olive,N.J.,has added a nylon 6 to its slate of laser-transparent,black compounds.Glass-reinforced Ultramid B3WG6 LT uses a proprietary BASF black colorant that transmits laser light so that it can be joined to a conventional laser-absorbent black part.
