Macarthur Coal sees near tripling of H1 net profit to $115-125 million

Australia抯 Macarthur Coal, the world抯 largest pro- ducer of low volatile pulverized injection material, said November 17 its first half FY2011 net profit could triple to A$115-125 million ($112.36-122.17 million) based on growing demand and a tightening coking coal market. In 2009-2010 Macarthur抯 first half profit came in at A$39.6 million, while full-year profit was A$125.1 mil- lion.
