Import prices rose as overseas costs climbed and pushed up FOB Asia offers. Imports for delivery in December were talked at and over 55 cents/lb DDP. 55 cents/lb was deemed a workable price as domestic prices could easily shoot to 60 cents/lb by December if paraxylene costs continue to increase.
