In Mexico, the March ethylene contract was heard at around $1,300/mt FOB, a slight increase of $44/mt. A source at Pemex said the company had been expecting stable prices or an increase following the US. Pemex crackers were without any technical problems and at regular rates, a source said. Downstream, Pemex PE contract prices for the Mexican domestic market went up 2.5-5.5%, said a company source.
