The US propylene market saw contract prices for March settling at discounts that seemed to fall short of expectations held by many participants. Multiple market sources reported the polymer-grade propylene CP had settled at 72.50 cents/lb MtB pipe, good for a 5-cent drop from February. Similarly, producers were reported have settled chemical- grade product at 71 cents/lb, down 3 cents from the highest of the two prices set for February.
