New Jersey joins states calling CO2 a pollutant

Citing New Jersey's vulnerability to the consequences of global warming,Governor James McGreevy said last week the state planned to classify and regulate carbon dioxide as a pollutant.The step would enable New Jersey to join eight other Northeast states in a plan to limit power-plant emissions of CO2,perhaps as early as next year.
