Canada's petroleum industry has been shaken by warnings that it risks losing Alberta tax credits and royalty breaks if it strikes unilateral climate-change agreements with the federal government.Alberta Environment Minister Lome Taylor,in a confidential letter to industry leaders last month,said any costs related to industry deals with Ottawa "will not be deductible for provincial royalty or income tax purposes."
