Conocophillips said apr 5 asset sales late last year will mean slightly lower first-quarter 2004 production volumes compared to three months earlier,but suggested strong commodity prices could still boost firstquarter earnings.high oil and gas prices will also help refining margins despite relatively hgih turnaround costs in the quarter,the major said in an update ahead of an apr 28 earnings release.
