Most in OPEC say too late to rescind cut

On the eve of OPEC's ministerial meeting in Vienna,almost all of the cartel's members Mar 30 said it was too late to go back on their February agreement to reduce their combined crude output ceiling by 1-mil b/d from Apr 1.The idea of postponing the cut had appeared to be gaining ground last week.But by the time all ministers were in Vienna,only Kuwait's Sheikh Ahmad Fahed al-Sabah was calling publicly for the cut to be delayed for the time being,while UAE oil minister Obaid al-Nasseri said on arrival in the Austrian capital that delaying the cut was still an option available to ministers.
