The Philippines Philex Miningproduced 25,389 oz of gold in the secondquarter, down 8.3% year on year and up4.9% from Q1, the company said in its latestquarterly report.Efforts to boost metal output resulted inhigher tonnage as ore milled from its Padcalmine rose to 2.38 million mt in Q2 from 2.25million mt a year earlier and 2.32 million mtin Q1, the company said.
