摘要

A pair of Environmental Protection Agency rules aimed at limiting power plant pollution could boost gas demand - each possibly by more than 6 Bcf/d - but analysts believe court challenges and other potential delays could prevent them from having any impact on prices for months. Ed Kennedy, a senior vice president of energy trading with Hencorp Becstone Futures, said both rules are "clearly bullish" for gas, but likely will not have any impact on market fundamentals until after it is abundantly clear when they will go into effect.
