Biological control of pathogens using Trichoderma spp. is very promising method against soil borne plant parasitic fungi. Use of Trichoderma fungi in biological control helps reducing pesticides entering in the environment and the changing conditionsfavoring plant. It Increases nutrient uptake from soil (Altumare et al., 1999), improve root system and plant growth (Lindsey et al., 1967; Harman, 2000) by mycoparasitism or directly attack on pathogenic fungi (Viterbo et al, 2002; Schirmbdck etal, 1994; Zeilinger et al., 1999). Therefore, a study was conducted to evaluate some locally available organic substrates for mass multiplication and long term survival of Trichoderma spp.
