Guan Zi holds that "Propriety", "righteousness", "honesty", "honor" are the "four--di-mension" of a country. It tells the readers: "Every country has four--dimension, without one dimen-sion the country will ti without two the country is in danger; without three, it is going to subvert;while without four, this country will perish." So it can be concluded that "propriety","righteous-ness","honesty ","honor'are the four pillars that support the gracious building of a country and if any pillar goes wrong, the country's stability will bi endangered. In modern society--a time with highly developed market economy, it's necessary to learn from the proper way to govern a country, the key is to modify four--dimension and to make use of the positive factors in Chinese traditional culture, such as "propriety, righteousness, honesty and the sense of shame".
