UN report advocates green solutions to water challenges

Launched on March 19, the 2018 edition of the United Nations World Water Development Report, Nature-based Solutions for Water, advocates the use of green infrastructure to improve the supply and quality of water and reduce the impact of natural disasters. The report contends that reservoirs, irrigation canals, and water treatment plants are not the only water management instruments that can be used to solve water challenges.
