French UAVs

In the spring of 2000, the French DGA released an RFP for two systems to supplement the French army's Crecerelle. The SDTI (System de drone tactique intermediare) is a medium endurance UAV for the army with a requirement for 4 systems. The DGA selected an upgraded version of the Crecerelle, called Sperwer, for this requirement. This will be followed by a more versatile tactical UAV called MCMM.
