The Meteor is intended primarily for the Eurofighter Typhoon and the Saab JAS 39 Gripen fighter, but will undoubtedly be suitable for other fighter aircraft types as well. France plans to employ the missile on the Rafale. British Aerospace has indi cated that it will be compatible with AMRAAM launchers.
