Morocco: Building on an ancient art

A delegation of 28 Moroccan manufacturers from Morocco, including seven leathergoods and footwear producers, took part in a Morocco British Trade Day in London in June. It was revealed at the event, which was officially opened by Morocco's ambassador to the UK, Princess Lalla Joumala Alaoui, that the North African country's leather sector has grown rapidly since the 1980s. It currently comprises 360 companies and employs more than 17,500 workers.
