CLINCAL OBSERVATION ON ACUPOINT INJECTION ANALGESIA FOR ARTIFICAL ABORTION

In the present study, the effect of acupoint injection analgesia for artificial abortion was observed. 40 patients were divided at random into 2 groups: Acupoint injection group (n=20) and control group (n=20). In the former group, bilateral Zusanli (ST 36) and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) were selected. 1-1.5 ml diluted analgesic solution was injected into each acupoint respectively about 5-10 minutes before operation. The blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR) of the patients were al moni- tored before and during operation.
