New Criminal Liability for Business End-User Piracy

From July 16, 2010, companies and organisations in Hong Kong, including directors and partners, could be subjected to new criminal liability for offences related to the unauthorised copying and distributing of copyrighted printed works in the course of business under the Copyright (Amendment) Ordinance 2007 (the "2007 Amendment") and the Copyright (Amendment) Ordinance 2009 (the "2009 Amendment").
