1.The centre has secured over ￡2 million of government funding to promote industry-led apprenticeships and training programmes such as the Pathway Sector Skills Programme (PSSP) for Apparel & Textile. This is one of 40 projects to win approval in the first round of the Government's Employer Ownership Fund Pilot. 2.Over 40 companies have signed up to the project and have committed over ￡2.8 million towards training costs over the next two years. This money will be met pound-for-pound by the Government.
