Cape Henry 21: A trailerable gaff-rigged cutter

Here we have a shoal-draft cutter that offers striking appearance and a good turn of speed. Dudley Dix based the styling for his Cape Henry 21 on traditional British working craft. The class name comes from the transplanted South African designer's new home near the entrance to Chesapeake Bay. This boat follows the success of his Cape Cutter 19. Stretching that hull to 21′creates about one-third more boat in terms of volume and displacement, with proportional benefits to accommodations, stability, and performance.
