Beaching Legs

Taking his cue from the beaching legs shown for GOLDEN BALL, my friend Doug Beaver made a set for his 25'Amphibi-Con GUILLEMOT. These legs were the essential element that allowed him and his wife, Eileen, to make an epic cruise around the head of the Bay of Fundy to the Minas Basin (with its 50' tidal range), spending most of their nights aground and held upright by the legs. That cruise is documented in Eileen's book, Sailing the Big Flush.
