SWW chooses CSO Technik

South west Water (SWW) has selected CSO Technik as one of its three odour-control framework suppliers for AMP5. CSO is already an odour-control framework supplier to Scottish Water, and is currently completing a large Chemical scrubber system contract at Kirkcaldy.rnIn addition to chemical scrubber systems, CSO supplies a wide range of odour-abatement solutions incorporating biofilters, bioscrubbers, catalytic iron filters and carbon filters, as well as the Terminodour process.rnSWW staff visited CSO's largest Terminodour installation at Swansea as part of a vetting procedure, and "were impressed by the system's effectiveness" and low carbon footprint.rnColin Froud, CSO Technik's managing director, said: "We are delighted that the benefits of our innovative and low carbon footprint odour control technologies have led to the award of a supply framework with South West Water."
