The Sievers InnovOx Laboratory and On-Line Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzers from GE Analytical Instruments run thousands of industrial process, wastewater, and environmental water TOC samples - including brine, hu-mic acid, and cellulose - with unprecedented uptime. The tough, reliable Sievers In-novOx uses a patent-pending Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO) technique to achieve superior TOC recoveries regardless of organic compounds and par-ticulate impurities in the sample. SCWO also removes oxidation byproducts and sample between analytical runs, eliminating frequent maintenance and expensive catalyst replacement. New InnovOx enhancements include faster, more intuitive navigation; additional user-managed security options; conversion factors for reporting units like BOD or COD; and a repeat criteria option that improves calibration.
