The £nM flood protection project in Teesside is among the latest projects that BMMjv is carrying on behalf of the Environment Agency. The joint venture, the collaboration between BAM Nuttall and Mott MacDonald, has embarked on the second phase of a scheme aimed at reducing flood risk from the River Tees. The second phase entails existing flood embankments being raised along Greatham Creek to reduce the flood risk to Port Clarence and land which is south of the creek. It is expected this phase will be completed by the end of 2018.
