The City of Riverside's multi-faceted Business Retention and Expansion Program involves the mayor, city council members and city staff, Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce and a number of ancillary agencies that help companies to grow and/or have a stake in business retention. As with any municipality, it is vital to the community's economic health to retain businesses that employ local residents and provide quality products, goods and services to the immediate area, region, state and, in many instances, across the nation and around the globe.
