Wear protection on medical scissors

摘要

The wear protection on medical scissors with, in part, extremely small cross-sections should be optimised for reasons of quality and cost. Therefore, the cutting edges were coated with different coating materials and according to different methods. Wear and corrosion tests were then conducted in order to test the industrial suitability of the coating materials and of the coating methods for the manufacture of scissors.
