Haxland exhibited this eco friendly canoe at the Beale Park Boat Show. Using an ash frame, the boat has an unusual composite skin. The reinforcement is flax while the matrix is based on linseed. Builder Simon Cooper still has to develop the design to reach a commercial product but the concept will be worth watching.
